Important information about versions 10.1 and 2016 of the label printing software Bartender

Official support of label software provider Seagull for Bartender version 10.1 will end on November 9, 2019. Read on to learn what you need to keep in mind.

Information from AEB about current developments with regard to the Bartender label printing software that you are using for label printing.

In the current system requirements, AEB recommends the use of Bartender version 2016 until further notice for operating systems Windows 10 or Windows Server 2016 in connection with driver 7.4.1.

  • Official support of provider Seagull Scientific for Bartender version 10.1 will end on November 9, 2019.
  • Migration to the subsequent Bartender version 2016 is not mandatory.
  • There is one scenario that makes it necessary to migrate from Bartender 10.1 to 2016:

Migration of your operating system to Windows 10 or Windows Server 2016 (only supported by Bartender 2016).

If you need to migrate, contact us via e-mail to service(at) to allow us to schedule a smooth migration to Bartender 2016.
Please note that this migration will incur both licensing and service costs.
  • Our offer for you:

If you use Bartender only for printing standard transport service provider labels,
migrate to the cloud-based solution ASSIST4 Carrier Integration as of 2018.
This cloud-based solution does not require Bartender software and includes services for routing data, service areas, service packages, current security standards, and label printing software licenses.
You can freely select your transport service providers and switch between them flexibly.
We will be happy to discuss with you about your options, advantages, and opportunities
and will create a quotation for you. If you are interested, please contact us via e-mail to service(at)
